About Me

Coach, Hypnotherapist & Permaculture Educator

I have been studying the theory of permaculture since 2008, and teaching since 2015. Having lived off grid for several years, in Devon, I appreciate what it’s like to disengage from the stress and overwhelm of the current social economic system and completely be immersed in nature, and connect with the Earth. Having then lived a low impact life and re-entering the conventional world with new found knowledge and wisdom, I am able to apply this insight to my permaculture teaching and coaching practice.

Through a transformative and emergent process, my approach as a permaculture practitioner and educator is to take this insight and reach those who are stuck in a spiral of negativity and hopelessness, helping them to integrate permaculture into their lives, to build resilience. My work is especially focused on marginal communities, and working with local authorities and organisations that support them.

Permaculture can be applied anywhere to anything. I also work with clients on private garden design, to community visioning and running courses for individuals and groups. Over the last four years I have worked towards adding to my skills as a permaculturist, and training as a Hypnotherapist, Psychodynamic Therapist and Nature-based Coach. This training is still on-going for the latter two themes.

Permaculture is a solutions focused, natural design science, mimicking the patterns in nature. It teaches us how everything in nature is connected, with elements working together to support each other. As a mental health peer supporter, I use this philosophy to support people with their mental health, helping them to use find the solutions towards recovery and better mental health.
