All workshops and courses are underpinned by permaculture design, and will integrate some basic, or indepth knowledge on permaculture depending on the workshop content.
Workshop for Hertford Town Council allotmenteers. The aim of these workshops is to introduce how to use permaculture design, to help reduce the overwhelm of having an allotment, making them low maintenance.
Techniques introduced were, sheet mulching, sectors and lasagna layering. Participants were able to visit The Allotment Plot, LAND permaculture demonstration project, to see how to apply the food forest technique.
Working with a local community allotment in Enfield, helping families to learn how to make compost and add fertility to their allotments. Here we are adding logs to a new pond surrounding.
